Lolita Chijoku (1988)
One of cult director Hisayasu Sato's more warped entries in the Japanese pinku-eiga genre, this one plays out like an even less responsible satiric take on themes better explored in Natural Born Killers. A pirate DJ and a young girl drive around the city broadcasting music and play-by-plays of sexual assaults which they witness on their nightly escapades. Before long, the youths find their star in a sadistic young rapist whom they join and elevate to a bizarre kind of celebrity. The Shintoho release certainly fits in with Sato's typical concerns of disaffected youth being perverted by an uncaring society, but hardly deserves mention with his best work. Marino Fujisawa stars with Shimo Sumii, Saori Yoshimura, and future filmmaker Kazuhiro Sano.
